Available for private hire, this gastro pub is well suited to wedding receptions, corporate events, and special celebrations. Exclusive venue hire includes both the restaurant and bar, accommodating up to 220 guests standing, or 110 seated. Semi-private options are also available, including the restaurant’s gourmet booths for up to 30 guests seated, or the Barrel Bar area for up to 20 guests standing.
For private hire and group dining, an exclusive three-course set menu is available for £48 per person, alongside a canapé menu with packages ranging from £30–£75. A selection of drinks packages are also available to complement your event.
Private Dining
The Jugged Hare’s private dining room, The Josephine Room, offers an intimate setting ideal for wedding receptions, birthday celebrations, corporate lunches, and more. Named after the prestige cuvée of Joseph Perrier Champagne, and the Champagne maker’s daughter, the room is rich in character.
Featuring exposed brick walls, vaulted ceilings, and restored Champagne racks, The Josephine Room combines historic charm with a refined atmosphere. The space accommodates up to 60 guests standing or 45 seated, with flexible table configurations including 22 guests on a single long table, 32 on a horseshoe-shaped table, or up to 45 on round tables.
